Honor 6X was launched in China last year around October. The Chinese version of the Honor 6x features a 5.5-inch Full HD display with a 2.5D curved glass. It is powered by an octa-core Kirin 655 CPU. At the time of its launch, it was announced in 3GB and 4GB RAM variants with 32GB and 64GB storage Hopefully; it will arrive with 4GB RAM in India. The smartphone offers a 12MP dual-camera setup on the back with 6P lens and phase detection autofocus system. Other features include DTS Audio, a fingerprint sensor, Android 6.0 Marshmallow, an 8MP front camera, and a 3,340mAh battery. In the connectivity department, you get LTE, dual-SIM card slots, GPS/A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.1 and a microUSB port. We can expect the Indian version of the phone to have the same features.
This budget phone includes dual rear cameras, a feature usually reserved for premium devices.
The dual cameras – one sensor 12MP colour, the other a 2MP sensor used for depth sensing – are stacked vertically in a single protruding design. The rear also houses the circular fingerprint scanner. I really like the placement of a fingerprint scanner on the back.
The Front camera is a 8 mp shooter.
